We love our pets! Between our families we cumulatively have 8 dogs.

Scientists have found that cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid receptors located in the central and peripheral nervous systems. These are known to help maintain balance in the body and keep it within a state of homeostasis. Dogs have a higher concentration of cannabinoid receptors in their brain.

Currently there is no definitive scientific data reflecting the use of CBD to treat dogs however, there is evidence from many dog owners. Suggestions that CBD Oil has helped treat pain, lower inflammation, and control seizures.

CBD is also used for its anti-inflammatory effects, anti-nausea effects, anti-anxiety effects, cardiac benefits, appetite stimulation, and other properties.

In an interview conducted by Trusted Source: Project CBD, Gary Richter, DVM answers a question regarding dosing.

Quesion: A lot of people say they want to start giving cannabis or CBD medicine to their pet, but they’re not quite sure about the right dose. Is there a good way to calculate the ideal amount for your animal?

Answer: "There’s a dosing range that you could start at. It’s best to begin at the low end. Every few days, slowly increase the dose. If you’ve achieved the desired effect for whatever is being treated, then you’re probably done."
