What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally-occurring phytocannabinoid of industrial hemp plants. It is the most abundant non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in cannabis and is being scientifically investigated for numerous reasons.
Will CBD get me "High"?
Nope! CBD is non-intoxicating, plus we got rid of CBD's psycho(active) cousin THC.
How much should I take?
Everyone is different. We recommend starting with 1 full dropper (50mg) up to two times daily.
What is this difference between the 500mg and 1500mg tincture?
The 500mg is a great place to start with 500mg of CBD in a 1oz bottle. The 1500mg is great for people looking for more releaf (see what we did there).
Per Serving comparison:
- 500mg - 16mg/1ml dropper serving
- 1500mg - 50mg/1ml dropper serving
Is CBD legal?
Yes, CBD derived from industrial hemp plants with less than 0.3% THC became federally legalized in 2018 via the 2018 Farm Bill.

Glossary
Arial Plant Parts
These include the stalks, stems, leaves, and seeds.
Broadspectrum
Hemp Oil Extract that contains CBD, other cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes and fatty acids working in sync with your body, as nature intended. Importantly it contains undetectable levels of THC.
Bioavailability
The degree of which a substance is absorbed into the bloodstream.
Cannabis
Cannabis, also known as marijuana among other names, is a psychoactive drug from the Cannabis plant used primarily for medical or recreational purposes
Cannibinoids
Molecules that promote balance and overall wellness by moderating the communication between the cells of our bodies. There are three types of cannabinoids: endocannabinoids, which our body naturally creates, phytocannabinoids, which are derived from plants such hemp, and synthetic cannabinoids, which are created in laboratories.
CB1 Receptor
CB1 receptors are located in the brain and throughout the body.
CB2 Receptor
CB2 receptors are found mostly in the immune and gastrointestinal system; although CB2 receptors are also found in the brain, they are not expressed quite as densely as CB1 receptors.
CBD
CBD, the second most common Cannabinoid that has several reported health benefits and is non-psychoactive (no high).
CO2 Extraction
Method of extraction that separates the oil at room temperature, allowing for a minimal process to preserve natural compounds.
Edible
Edibles are food products that contain marijuana. The many forms of edibles include baked goods, candies, chocolates, and beverages. Edibles are a popular method of delivery for both medicinal and recreational cannabis.
Endocannibinoid
Endocannabinoids promote balance and overall wellness by moderating the communication between the cells of your body. Endocannabinoids are naturally created in your body.
Endocannibinoid System
The largest neurotransmitter system present in brain and body of humans and all other animals. It is responsible for regulating our biological processes including appetite, immune system, digestion, sleep, mood, memory, metabolism, hormones and aging.
Full Spectrum
Hemp Oil Extract that contains CBD, other cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes and fatty acids working in sync with your body, as nature intended. It contains detectable levels of THC (usually 0.3% and under)
Hemp
Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species that is grown specifically for the industrial uses of its derived products. It is one of the fastest growing plants and was one of the first plants to be spun into usable fiber 50,000 years ago.
Indigenous Cannabinoids
Indigenous cannabinoids are endogenous lipids that engage cannabinoid receptors, affecting behavior in a fashion that at least partially recapitulates the effects produced by the psychoactive components of cannabis.
Isolate
Purified CBD that is THC free but does not contain other cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes and fatty acids.
Marijuana
Cannabis, also known as marijuana among other names, is a psychoactive drug from the Cannabis plant used primarily for medical or recreational purposes
Phytocannabinoid
Natural Cannabinoid produced by plants.
Pyshocactivity
The "high" feeling that one feels fromt taking THC.
THC
The most well known Cannabinoid in the cannabis plant. THC binds itself to the CB1 receptors which helps produce a psychoactive effect on the body (high feeling). It can also have an effect on memory, perception and other functions.
Tincture
The glass bottle that CBD Oil is typically stored in.
